We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop core APIs and systems powering a mobile-first, AI-based venue recommendation platform. This includes personalization, agent orchestration, and real-time content.

Must-have

5+ years of backend development, with 2+ in a senior role.
Proven experience with mobile-backend APIs.
Strong experience integrating ML inference into APIs.
Deep knowledge of REST/GraphQL and feedback-driven design.
Familiarity with real-time architecture.

Is a plus

Experience with recommendation systems or agentic AI.
Knowledge of mobile sessions and personalization queues.
Understanding of Flutter data flows.
Background in POI/maps/event platforms.

What you will do

Design and build APIs for personalization and agent systems.
Serve enriched POI metadata and user embeddings.
Enable session-aware recommendations and live content updates.
Manage backend inference and performance.
Collaborate with Flutter team to align data flows.
