We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer (Consultant) to contribute to the development of high-quality Android applications. As a consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Android apps while ensuring scalability and maintainability. You will work closely with product teams, designers, and backend engineers to build seamless mobile experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Android development, architectural patterns, and modern mobile technologies. The role will be 100% remote, working with one of our top US clients.

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and networking frameworks like Retrofit.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Expertise in performance optimization and memory management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Great English skills.

Is a plus

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Familiarity with Android security best practices.
• Background in AI/ML, ARCore, or other advanced Android features.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Embedded/Automotive application experience.
