The project involves maintaining and optimizing complex DevOps infrastructure for one of the largest European providers of command and emergency center systems. The environment includes modern Java and Angular applications, on-prem Kubernetes clusters, and integrations with AWS cloud services. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless CI/CD automation.
Must-have
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (on-prem and/or cloud)
- Hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts
- Knowledge of ArgoCD for GitOps deployments
- Solid background in Linux administration and bash scripting
- Understanding of network configurations and security
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch / ELK stack
- Experience with MariaDB, MySQL, or Oracle databases
- Good English communication skills
- Proactive, independent working style
Is a plus
- Experience with Rancher or (Open)Lens
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration
- Familiarity with Testkube or similar testing tools
- Experience in AWS environments
- Background in public safety, transport, or mission-critical systems
What you will do
- Support teams in managing and improving DevOps operations and infrastructure
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Manage deployments through Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and SonarQube
- Maintain RabbitMQ, Redis, and database environments
- Implement infrastructure automation via Ansible and scripting
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across all environments
